Color.
Color is a big part of every artistic endeavor. It is what always brings out the true statement of what you are doing. However, sometimes it is not easy to come up with color schemes that fit what you are doing so here are some examples of great color pallets.

I normally hate anything pink, but that palette with the dark greys and yellow with the pink was actually really inspiring. Might have to work that in a design.
