The Illinois Film Office web page is featuring a Short Film Contest. You must be a resident of Illinois, and at least 18 years of age. The winner will receive a cash prize, and be screened during the Chicago International Film Festival in October.

Sounds like a lot of fun, Chicago always has some kind of festival going on and they are always a lot of fun. Chicago also has the 48hour film festival that takes place in August.
