Fire Fight

This clip is from the movie Heat which came out in 1995. This has to be one of the greatest shooting scenes of all time. The reason I love this particular scene is because it is loud, the bullets are huge, and it is a long scene that holds your attention until the very last shot. It gets the point across without being overly bloody. What also makes is so compelling is the lack of music throughout the whole scene. It intensifies the drama and pulls you deeper into the action.

  1. It has been a long time since I've seen this movie, but I clearly remember this particular scene from it. It is a long shooting scene, but I agree that it's so intense it really does keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The camera angles they used, the way it was edited, great actors and just the extreme action are a few of the things that really make this an incredible scene. I also think the lack of music was a great decision for the same reasons too--excellent choice!
