i don't think i have ever heard anybody badmouth blu-ray before so i found this little article to be kind of neat. i also have a billion DVDs collecting dust at home, so its nice to see that somebody still cares. Also, the website i got this from, slashfilm.com, is great for all kinds of movie news so if you are into that kind of thing you should check it out.

I don't think Blue-Ray is inferior to DvD. I just think it is necessary at this point. I'm not going to spend extra money to get a Blu-Ray disc (let alone a Blu-Ray player, or a horrible PS3)to watch something in greater detail to the point where it hurts my eyes.
