A portfolio is a representation of all of your proudest work. Having a portfolio that installs great interest is very important for getting the job you want. Therefore, put a lot of effort into your portfolio it will get you a job one day.

I completely agree with you on how important a portfolio really is. I would also encourage students to save all their projects, even when you're first beginning because once you know what you're doing you can always go back to them and make changes. It's always a great idea to be creative with the way you put it all together to try to stand out from the crowd.
